A six part-docu series created to spotlight the important work of charity Room to Read. The episodes are comprised of an animated short with accompanying live action mini documentaries that feature the narratives of six courageous young women from historically low-income communities in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Vietnam, and feature voice over from world-class talent such as Freida Pinto and Charithra Chandran.
She Creates Change was creatively spearheaded by Emmy-winner Martha Adams, with each episode directed by collective of diverse women including Siqi Song, Neeraja Raj, Bonnie Taylor Forsyth, Hannah Lau-Walker, Prashanti Aswani and Claudia Chinyere Akole. Sound mix was by Ines Adriana.
She Creates Change premiered in March 2024 on Discovery Asia. You can watch a snippet of the trailer for the series here (which has already received 21 Million views on YouTube) featuring an original song written and produced by Lucie and sung by Kenyan artist Karun with lyrics by poet Warsan Shire. Microscopia is a musical and visual exploration of micro and macro worlds, inspired by surreal microscopic landscapes captured by Geneviève Anhoury to the blurry edges of the galaxy.
The piece was written as a ‘film-score’ for Lucie’s portfolio while studying at film scoring at Berklee College of Music. Musicians contracted by Hilary Skewes.

A film and sound installation featuring community members of the North-east, underwater and suspended in time. The project is inspired by the world-famous magician and escapologist Houdini, who visited Aberdeen in 1909 and dived into the harbour. Lucie created a sound piece to accompany the visual work by Graeme Roger, which features the voices of local Aberdeen choirs.
